URG: Can I "unsave" a document?

N

I know I am so-o screwed, but I am desperate....

I opened one document to develop another similar document. I pressed
ctrl-S before changing the name of the document. Of course, that
overwrote the original document, which was not my intent.

Is there any way that I can recover the original document?

No, it is not backed up. I wrote both documents within the last 30
minutes.

But sometimes, applications keep a history of saves, at least while
the document is still open. I am hoping that might be the case with
MS Word. I have searched the disk for files with similar names, to no
available. I am hoping that someone can point me to a "funny named"
file, like those under Identities directories or the like.

The document is still open. I have not modified the document since
pressing ctrl-S.

I am using MS Office Word 2003 (11.5604.5606) and MS Windows XP Pro
2002 SP2.

Many thanks for a quick response.

I hate to tell you this but, as you have probably learned by now, as
suspected, you're screwed.
