Urgent - Another switchboard problem

J

Hi, earlier today I posted a question about a switchboard problem, where I
had created the switchboard but the form had disappeared, so I had nothing to
point to in my Start Up. In the absence of a response, I decided to
recreate the switchboard, so I deleted the table, and started again. Now I
am having a further problem. Every time I open the database I get the
following message:
"The form name "Switchboard Items" is misspelled or refers to a form that
doesn't exist. If the invalid form is in a macro, an Action Failed dialog
box will displayh the macro name and the macro's arguments after yuou click
OK. Open the macro window and enter the correct form name. OK". It is not
part of a macro, and I have checked that all the forms do exist and function
correctly. The words "Switchboard Items" is not misspelled as it is system
generated. I have put so much work into my database, I am desperate to find
a solution. Please help urgently! Thanks again, Jazz.

Hi John, thanks for your kind response. Actually before reading it, I
continued to try to work it out, and now feel like a bit of an idiot! The
Start Up was still looking for the form - once I changed it to None, the
problem disappeared (naturally!!). However, I do think the error message I
got was highly confusing! I thank you for your time in looking at this
problem - it is most appreciated. Cheers. Jazz

I'm having this same problem... I'm using a secure 97 access database.
Some how it seems like the database is getting corrupted o
something... everything is fine, then when I open the database an
import a table or something I get this error the next time I open th
database.

It will not let me delete the switchboard form, it says the sav
operation failed. It's like the form is getting locked open o
something crazy??

Can someone help me?!? We have a UL audit in 2 days and this is th
database we store all of our information in!!! I will be dead if
don't get this resolved tomorrow!

-Thanks
