Urgent - Big printing problem

H

Helen

Good day,

I am trying to print a 193-page Word 2003 document. There is no macro in
the document, etc.

I can print, without a problem, pp 1 to 143, inclusively. Starting at page
144, the document does not come out of the printer. I tried printing pp
144-193 in .pdf, no can do, I tried printing on another printer, no can do
either. However, I can print single pages, one by one, starting with page
144, then 145, etc.

The only difference is that the document is marked with DeltaView insertions
and deletions. I got rid of those (change the styles because I don't have
DeltaView) and it did not correct the problem.

What also bugs me is that the printer icon in the status bar acts like there
is no problem.

Help!!!

Thank you!

Helene

Try splitting the document into two, say, 1 to 100 and 101-193. Copy the
original and delete the first 100 pages in the copy; no need to delete
anything from the original. Be sure to set the page numbers in the second
part to begin at 101. When printing the original, print only pp. 1-100; in
the copy, print all.

gotta question

If you go to page 144, is there anything different? Does the bottom of the
document change at all? (Where it says Page, Sec, etc.?)

Are you just clicking the 'print' button, or are you asking it to print from
page 1 to 193? If you do that, make sure you don't have different 'sections'
in the document, because if you have sections, you have to put 's1-s193' in
that selection box, rather than 'p1-p193'.

Other than seeing the docuemnt itself, I can offer much more! Sorry!
