urgent help needed for database function!!

Im doing a uni assignment and i need help on the DSUM
function. I have no idea what to put as the database.
there are three things u have to fill in to complete the
function. i know what is needed for the last two but not
the first. i have read the help manual but i just cant
figure it out. assistance would be extremely appreciated.

The Database argument should refer to the table of records to be summed. It
should have headings in the first row, and the records in the remaining
rows. The headings in your criteria range must match the headings in the
table -- that's how it knows which column in the table you're referring to
in your criteria range.
