URGENT Help Needed to fix .mdb

I have an .mdb that I was compacting/repairing and when it re-opened, it
gave an error of:
" 'AOIndex' not an index in this table" with OK & Help buttons. OK just
leaves Access open with no DB open. Help brings up help with blank gray
screen. I have search the Microsoft KB and found nothing about this error
or how to fix.

I can't import anything out of this DB into another or get it to open in any
way (always gives that index error)

FYI: I normally back up the MDB before compacting. After compacting &
everything checked out OK, I make another back-up copy and delete the
pre-compact back-up copy.
