URGENT HELP NEEDED!!!

I was testing/practicing establishing user-level security
in my DB and managed to lock myself out. I don't
understand how it happened considering I created it, I'm
in the admin group, etc. I have no idea how to fix it and
I can't recreate the database. I had been making copies,
but apparently I didn't this time and didn't realize till
it was too late.

I'm extremely frustrated because the Help section provides
NO help. It's very vague and doesn't flow. I have 3
books also, and only one of them even mentions security
and it's all copies of the wizard.

HELP!!! HELP!!! HELP!!!! I'm pretty good with computer
programs, but i'm no programmer...

your help is greatly, EXTREMELY greatly appreciated!!!

Provided that you did not move the admin from the admins
group, try to join the default workgroup.mdw which is
system.mdw and log on as admin without password.

I'm not an expert either but I can tell you how I fixed
mine:

1) Locate Wrkgadm.exe This is usually located in the
WIN/NT or office subdirectory (just use find).
2) Double click and run the program.
3) Click join and browse to the .MDW file that was created
when you secured your database. It's usually created in
the same folder that your database resides in. Once you
have joined to that "workgroup information file". You
should be able to open the database. I hope that helps..

Dear Jessica, No problem.
First, you can go to the Knowledge base
("http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=fh;EN-
US;KBHOWTO") search for article "ACC: Microsoft Access
Security FAQ Available in Download Center" which is
("Q165009"). then download it from there or go
to "http://support.microsoft.com/support/access/content/sec
faq.asp" directly and read it on the web. It has great
information about security especially section "34. How can
I "de-secure" a database?."

Second, when you say that you can see the tables...but
still can't get access to the actual database, what do you
mean? anyway, Create a new database and then, while you
are at the new database, go to (File > Get external data >
import...) and try to import all database objects from the
database that is giving you problems. This way you will
have ownership over all database objects. while you are
joined to the system.mdw, try to open the database and
since you did not remove the admin from the admins group,
you should be able to get in as admin. I hope that would
