Urgent Question

using stacked column chart (Excel 2003), does anyone know how to mak
the total appear at the top of the bars (without using text boxes)?

I'd create a column with data for the total that you need for the data
labels. I'd then add that as another series of data and change it to a
line chart. I'd then add the values as a data label to the line chart.
Once labeled, I'd then change the marker and line for the line chart so that
it's not displayed.
