Urgent: Remove a gray line

Any help greatly appreciated. I am currently working on a CV using a
template from Word 2000. A gray vertical line about 1" long appears at the
top of every page. I need to remove this line. I'm usually able to work
these things out myself but this one has me baffled/frustrated.
