URL for Outlook Add-in

P

PS

Hi Everybody,

I'm using Project Server 2007 & Outlook 2003. I've installed the MS
Project add-in for Outlook. The problem is to connect Outlook to
Project Server. In the URL for PWA, I specified my Web Access URL:
http://project2007/pwa
Is that the URL it expects or something else.

Eagerly waiting for reply.

TIA,
PS.

Hi PS,

Assuming that the URL of the PWA is http://project2007/pwa then that should
be okay - although I'd add a trailing forward-slash for completeness (i.e.
http://project2007/pwa/)

There should be a Test Connection button - what happens when you click that?
Are you using a Windows User Account?

What error are you receiving?

Regards,

Jonathan

Jonathan,
Thanks a lot for the reply.

The URL that I mentioned earlier (http://project2007/pwa) is the PWA
URL(I've already mentioned that in the post - "Web Access URL").
During the "Test Connection", it gives me an error "The Project Server
URL seems to be invalid. Please check the spelling of the Project
Server URL".
It is documented that while "testing connection", the Account is not
checked (there is no log-in attempt). It works irrespective of the log-
in account.

I've even tried giving the URL as:
http://project2007/pwa/projects/
http://project2007/
//project2007

Still I am unable to connect to the Project Server through Outlook

TIA,
PS.
