URL Links in Outlook 2007 very VERY slow?

Hello,

I'm running WIndows XP SP2, IE7, Office 2007. When I click on a link in an
e-mail received using Outlook 2007 it is very very very slow to open the
link even if IE7 is already open. Anything I need to change out?

My system is a Core 2 2.67, 350GB HD - 175GB free, 2 GB of RAM, x1900 video.
My system is pretty fast (although I'll always want faster :) and newer
parts )

I have the same problem ... I don't think it has anything to do with your
computer but with the software ... I have Outlook 2007 both on my desktop and
laptop, and both have the same problem. I didn't have this with Outlook 2003.
It is very annoying and I hope someone can come up with a suggestion ...

I'm also having the same issue, on several top end pc's. Its not system
resources as I've had a look at the resources the memory cpu and disk IO are
practically nothing while waiting for a link to open up.

Last time I timed it it took 38 seconds from when I clicked the hyperlink
until the browser window opened. Its normally quicker to copy and paste the
link manually. I've actually had to downgrade from 2007 back to 2003 (as I
need to use outlook for my contact syncing with my mobile) but that means I
have a fully payed for edition of office 2007 going to waste, sort it out
please ms or at least advise of a work around.
