URL Shows in browser but no web site

Ray

Hi,
I have used FP for many years but have not run into this problem.
If you view source in a browser the main tags are there but nothing in the
body.
I am not sure if this is related because they work but some of my other web
that the URL of my site shows but has the /index.html after it. Does this
mean anything. Here is the troubled site.
www.agapegifts.net

Thank you.

Kathleen,
Thank you for the response. The index.html is my home page. If I delete it
there will be no home page. I thought the home page had to be called
index.html I haven't made a site for awhile so my memory may be slipping.

Contact your host for the correct file name required for your home page
It is not index.htm, and right now you have no home page at all

The Home page name is whatever your host says it should be. This is
usually one from:
index.htm, index.html, default.htm, default.html, default.asp,
default.aspx, index.php, and so on. I have also seen hosts that require
home.html or welcome.html

In your case, index.htm is the required page. If index.html has all
the required code in it, then rename index.html to index.htm.
At www.agapegifts.net index.html does not exist, and index.htm is an
empty page.

Thanks,
Totally amazing. I have made over 20 personal web sites in the past 10 years
and always used index.html or index.htm, hosted with OLM.

You are correct...I used your suggestion default.asp. Come to think of it my
last few sites were with godaddy and they all show the url plus/index.html
in the browser. I was not aware the provider had different criteria for the
home page. Just for curiosity...why not have a standard?

Thank you so much.
