The education coordinator in our division has used Visio 2000 for the past few years to create and maintain an html/gif image floor map of our division. Each little office in this drawing is image mapped and has a hyperlink that passes paramenters to a cgi script which returns a personal information page on the employee who works in that office. We have found that when opening the .vsd file in Visio @002, those parameters are truncated. This leaves only the path to the cgi script, minus the parameters, making the script useless

(i.e., /path/to/employeeinfo.cgi versus /path to employeeinfo.cgi?type=empnum&lookup=01234&group=blue

Even when we use Visio 2002 to re-enter the parameters in the hyperlink, saving the file to html causes them to disappear again. Any help would be appreciated.

Please see the following KB article for a workaround:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;299175

Also, note that this is fixed in Visio 2002 SP2.
