US Counties

I would like to create a stencil of the shape of each county in each state
in the United States. I would also like to group all the counties of each
state and finally to group all states together. There is a free download
from Visimation (www.visimation.com) which does the state part but I would
then like to break the states down my county. Anyone aware of anything like
this?

From the research I've done, it sounds like MS MapPoint might have the
county maps. Can anyone confirm this? If so, is there anyway to then
convert these to Visio shapes?

Any other thoughts on how would one approach this? Any recommendations on
books that might cover this topic?

MapPoint does have county maps, but there is no conversion capability from
MapPoint to Visio. You could use the MapPoint map as a non-editable
background image in Visio. That would let you drop other shapes on top of
the map.
