According to the post below I found under windows 2002 IIS
general newsgroup, usage analysis is not provided anymore
under win 2003, but I have to buy commerce server.
Is this true?

Hi Bryan,

Thank you for replying!

For your convenience, I'd suggest you can store your log
files as ODBC
logging so that all your log files will be stored into
database. You can
still use the siteserver Import/Usage Analysis tools to
analyze the logs.
If you don't like to specify ODBC logging, I'd also
suggest you can use the
IIS parser to export the log files into SQL tables so that
Site server
analysis tools can perform operations on these logs for
you.

In addition, the Log File Import/Usage Analysis tools are
not discontinued.
The log analysis function has been split into different
server products
now; for example Commerce Server etc. Yu can analyze your
log very easily
with these new servers' analysis tool.

Does this answer your question? Thank you for using
Microsoft NewsGroup!
