USB Flash Drive

Help Needed

When I plug in my USB Flash Drive into my USB Port my system shuts down. If
I recall there is a place to check to make sure that my system can use a USB
Flash Drive, but can't remember where. Could someone please provide the
steps to check this option.

This is not an Office issue, which is what this group deals with. You should
post to an appropriate Windows group for your operating system (like
microsoft.public.windowsxp.hardware or
microsoft.public.windows.vista.hardware_devices or
microsoft.public.windows.vista.general). Here's a link with an alpha list of
groups:

No worries -- it's easy to get lost in the various webstes and pages for the
groups -- which is why I wanted to make sure you had info so you could get
to the right place easily!
