use an Office Assistant from a previous version

I am a long time user of Microsoft Office. I miss my coffee drinking office
assistant Einstein. It would be nice if there was a way to use Office
assistants from previous versions.

If I recall correctly, Einstein was available for Office 97. If true, you
cannot use Einstein as the technology generating the office assistant was
changed beginning with Office 2000.

That is true, however, it would be nice if MicroSoft would bring him back and
make him compatible with Office 2003.

Well, bad news for some but Office Assistants are going away with Office
2007.

Really, why would they do that? They added a flavor of interest to the help
function. Too bad.

For some, "Flavor of Interest = Major Annoyance."

Having worked with Office 2007 for some time now, I can say that I don't
miss them.
