Use default stationary on all new sections, pages etc

Is there a way to have a default stationary assigned to all new pages,
sections etc.? It seems as if you have to choose your stationary each and
every time you create anything new. I would like to just click on new page
and the same stationary comes up every time.

Open the Stationery task pane and then select the name of the stationery you
want from the Choose default stationery list.

it seems like you can only apply the default stationary to the particular
folder or section only that you are in at that time and moment. is there a
way to have a default stationary for the whole notebook and all future
folders, sections, and pages that you create?
