Thank you very much. In the end I gave
up on the automatic adjustment of "x". I just type
it, bookmark it, and then reference it using
the REF field.
| You *can* cross-reference the number only, though it requires a bit of
| fiddling. But if you bookmark a SEQ field, you should be able to
| cross-reference it as well.
