Use of arrow keys causes my PC to lock up

I'm experiencing a problem when I use my arrow keys when in Word or Power
Point. It doesn't always occur, but happens quite a bit. The PC will
totally lock up and I have to reboot to get out of the problem.

I have resorted to never using the arrow buttons to avoid this, but from
time to time I forget this, and use the arrow....and lock-up.

Does anybody know how to resolve this ?

Since you haven't received any responses, I'll suggest you try changing your
hardware acceleration. For instrux, see How to set graphics hardware
