Use of .vcs files in Entourage 2004

I am using a recruiting support application called Taleo that enables
centralized scheduling of interviews, as well as sharing of interviewer
feedback on candidates. When an interview is scheduled, a ".vcs" file
is created and broadcast to all clients. Currently, the .vcs file opens
my iCal application and creates an appointment. However, I use
Entourage 2004 as my calendaring application. I have set the
association of the .vcs file to Entourage, but Entourage does not seem
to know what to do with the file.

Any suggestions?

I have found that if you drag the .vcs file onto the Entourage icon in
the doc, it works fine. If you've received the .vcs file in an e-mail,
you can even drag the icon for the .vcs file directly from the
Entourage "attachments" list directly onto the Entourage icon in the
dock.
