use on multiple computers vs. sharing notebooks

When creating a new notebook, what is the difference between the 2 options:
'I will use it on multiple computers' and 'Multiple people will share the
notebook'? Do both setups end up with the same features and functions? Do
both have a master notebook in a shared location with a copy on all computers
that access it, and all can sync/update/make changes?

Yes, both setups end up with the same functionality. The choices affect
only which defaults the new notebook wizard suggests, as well as whether
or not it gives an option to mail a shared notebook link or create a new
share on your computer.
