Use PDS to pass data to Project Server

It seems that the PDS tool does not allow an external system to: -
1. pass baseline data to MS P Server
2. pass cost data
3. does not display the project percentage complete
4. does not display the enterprise custom field values in PWA

Does anyone know an extender or something that would allow our inhouse
project management system (not MS Project) to pass its data to MS Project
Server 2003.

MSPServer2003 provides a useful enterprise gantt chart and management
reports via OLAP. We can pass basic data from our .NET app to the server but
much of the key data is missing (baselines, %ages etc). We would prefer not
to develop our own Gantt charts and olap cubes.

If we publish through MS Project desktop it works. Is Microsoft stopping
this deliberatly or can we get around the problem?

Anyone with any ideas?

Thanks in advance

The only system that does any calculation is Project Professional. So, after
pushing various bits of data to Project Server you need to open the schedule
in Project Pro, publish and save. This can all be automated.

To save baseline data you need to develop an extender and there is
information on how to do this on msdn.microsoft.com and the Project SDK's.

Simon/Rod, I have been trying to pass some actual cost data to the project
level or at the task level and would like to get some lead on how it can be
done using PDS. Any help will be much appreciated because PDS is new to me.
