Dear all, please bear with me, newbie to Outlook and Exchange server.
I have about 25 users who have to be assigned tasks and report time against
these tasks. I'm trying to use Calendar and Tasks to achieve this:
1) Administrator assigns task(s) to user. System sends an email notification
to assignee upon assignment
2) User is made aware of assigned task(s). He/she records time spent on the
assigned task(s) by indicating the actual time spent on a Calendar as an
AppointmentItem
I would like to minimise code execution at user-level, hence as the
administrator I would like a centralised location whereby I can control the
assignment of tasks and execute code to extract the respective task(s), time
spent, and user info.
How should I achieve this? Use a public folder or create an administrative
user account whereby users can send their respective Task AppointmentItems to
this master Calendar for me to apply the data extraction?
Please advise. Thanks in advance!
