use sectionpages to refer to another section's page count

Hi all,
Looked for this question in the group, but I couldn't find this topic.
I've got an appendix (sep. from main document by a section break) that
has some wide tables in it. Thus, for part of the appendix, I need
wide page margins. To accomplish this, I put in a section break.

What I'd like to do is to be able to put page numbers in the appendix
that would include the combination of both appendix sections in the
appendix page count.
In psuedofield form:

appendix section one:
Page {page} of {={sectionpages}+{next section's sectionpages}}

appendix section two:
Page {={Page} + {previous section's sectionpages}} of
{={sectionpages}+{next section's sectionpages}}

In sum, is there any way to refer to a different section's page count?

Hi Andrew,

I think you're making this too difficult. Why not use:
"Page {Page} of {NumPages}"
