Use "Tab" within a cell comment

Okay, as my last message disappeared from this forum, let's try again!

Is it possible to use a Tab to line up text within a cell comment
using VBA? If so ... how?

I can see a reply on another forum from "Victor Delta" which says -
Presumably you don't mean Control +Tab which does that - to which the
answer is YES ... I want to find the VBA code which is the exact
equivalent of doing that.

Can anyone help please?

I have found that if I format text the text of a cell comment like
bullet points in MSWord is the only way to go.

Inserting a "Tab" (Control + Tab) inserts a variable number of spaces
when used in the middle of a line.

I just put in the desired number of spaces in the text to indent the
line, like 5 spaces. This requires no special characters in your text
string.

Thanks for your reply but I am trying to use Tabs to line up strings
of variable lengths so just adding spaces is not a particularly good
option for me unless ... I start looking at string lengths and
calculating the number of spaces to use. I can do that, but is there
no easy way to encode Tabs?
