professional .
All network settings and configuration are set and manager is using project
web access from england to connect with epm in INDIA or PAKISTAN.. and now
he want to use project professional from ENGLAND to connect with epm.

we have tried but it is not used by manager in england .
pls tell me what is the reason . and how we can provide access to those
managers which are working on ENGLAND and want to open the projects in
project professional on their computers although the project server or epm
is completely installed in INDIA or PAKISTAN.

Micheal,

There are multiple way:

1) Use Terminal services (as mentioned by Gary)
Terminal services is available in Win2000 & win2003 as a free component.
Manager from England can connect to the terminal services on Project server
or any server in your Pakistan/India office network with MS Project
Professional installed on that server. This is better option in case of only
few managers.

2) Use any remote administration tool (If terminal services is not an option
for you)
TightVNC, PCanywhere etc

3) Establish VPN between the England & Pak/India office. That will be much
better option if you have many managers in England who wants to connect using
Project Prof from their desktop rather than using Terminal services. For this
method make sure required ports are open. Project requires a lot many
ports/services to access projects. (IIS, SQL, AD, etc are some of the
services)

Caution: Using VPN solves security problems, however it doesn't deal with
bandwidth and latency which will cause you great pain across theses
distances. If your projects are compact and you don't have a lot of
resources, this *might* work for you without your users complaining.
