use vba to insert snapshot image into excel worksheet

I am planning to create snapshot images of about 8 reports that each contain
a graph then, using vba, copy each image to an excel spreadsheet having one
graph per tab. The reason is that managers all have excel and not all have
snapshot viewer. The company likes excel and I was told to do it this way.
Is the snapshot image like a bitmap image or a jpeg image? I'm worried about
the size of the excel spreadsheet.
