My associate has a Palm m130 and would like to
synchronize his palm with his desktop so that he can use
project on the go....is that possible?

If so, what synchronization software is needed?

I've searched for "project on the go" and can't find it on Google or
www.palmgear.com. What is it?

I presume it's software that works on a Palm and interacts with Project
files. My hunch is that the 'readme.txt' (or equivalent) that comes
with the software will explain how to make it work. The actual
synchronisation software (controlling the bits/bytes on the wire between
the PC and Palm) is something different and is already installed on your
associates's PC as it is part of the Palm package.

For the Palm OS, see Natara's "Project@Hand" at
http://www.natara.com/ProjectAtHand/index.cfm

If you are using a pocket pc OS, see CyWren Software's
four applications (CyProj, CyRisk, CyStat, and CyAct) at
http://www.cywren.com/

I originally used a Palm m505 and the Natara's
application. I now use a Dell Axim and the CyWren
applications. Both are very good for viewing MS Project
files, individually or multi-leveled projects.
