Use Word to Create DB Blueprint?

Hi,

Am in the planning phase... should I use Word in outline view to create a
"blueprint" of what I would like to achieve?

Any suggetions would be greatly appreciated!

This really depends on your plannings skills. If you know something
about how to model a database, you could use Visio. In Visio you "draw"
the model outline, which can be used to automatically create your data
model in Access.

I normally draw an entity-relationship diagram by hand
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Entity_relationship), because you can
easily derive the data model (schema) from it.
