used detect and repair-can not reset line spacing in Word

I can not reset line spacing in Office XP Word--I have used the detect and
repair feature to no avail

How do I post my own question , I hit new question & it just refreshes screen?

Sounds like you have a pop-up blocker program that is blocking
the new window that is supposed to appear when you hit New Question.
