Used Visio 2003 and Installation

If I purchased a legal copy (original disk) of Visio 2003 from someone who
already has installed it on their PC and now for whatever reason they want to
sell it, what would be the implications of me trying to legally install it
and how would I go about it? I would think that the one selling it would
have to de-activate or uninstall their installation. I also realize that I
would have to purchase a license from MS to even do this. I am looking for
all legal here and not trying to get something for nothing. Visio 2003 is
pretty much unavailable retail now, and I'm sort of scared of ordering off
the internet. Is this scenario even workable? Thanks for any response. rvrl

If the person who sold you the disk still has it installed, then you cannot
legally install the same copy on your system. If you are talking about
purchasing a 'license', you can review the Product Licensing Web site :
