Could you introduce a new field format key in the next version of Word or in
Service Pack? A new field should act in oposite way of "\ * FirstCap" key -
to display first character in the first word in low register. This will be
extremely useful in Russia when one types documents containing figures. The
reason is in the fact, that according to Russian text standard one should
name figures as "Fig. N" (of course in Russian), BUT the correct writing of
cross reference on the figure from text is "fig. N". I've tried to use key "\
* Lower" and it works Ok, but it make all characters of the field result in
low (Ex: "fig. b-1"), while I need to make it only with first character of
the first word!!
