You set the password to modify the contents of your word file and what you
find that any body can open that file in notepad and delete all the cotents
(no one would ask you to enter password)..................

There are many levels of software security. To prevent deletion, you'll need
to set operating system permissions on the file so that only qualified users
can open, delete or view the file listing.
