User account exists, but name not displayed in PWA drop down. HELP

Hi,

i deleted a user from PWA and recreated his account and also got a
confirmation that his account was created.
but when i wanted to check his account, his name was not listed in the drop
down list of account holders.

Assuming that the account was not created properly, i went ahead and tried
to recreate the same. but the system showed a message saying the User already
exists.

I am not sure why his name is not being shown in the drop down. Anyone with
an idea as to why this is happening or how this one can be solved please help
me out with this one. I am on PWA 2003.

Any assistance would be of great help.
