User Assistant telephone

Is there any way to edit a User's Assistant and Assistant phone fields?
These fields are available for Users in the Address Book - Global Address
List, user properties, but apparently there is no way to edit these fields in
the Active Directory, Users and Computers, User properties. Likewise, in the
Users and Computers, Users properties there is a filed for IP Phone, but
there doesn't seem to be any way to access this filed from Outlook/Exchange.

Am I missing something, or are these feilds not accessable from the User
properties? Is there another way to access these fields?
