One of our Project Server users when editing a document for the purpose of
linking the document to one of his assigned tasks receives a message
informing him that he either lacks appropriate permissions of the project has
not been published. We are presently configured with the default set of
security templates and his userid is associated with the Team member profile.
Does this level of functioniality require the user to be authorized for
transactions? When I attempt to perform the same function using my userid,
which fundamentally is granted full access to all functions I am able to view
the tasks without a problem, so I don't believe it has anything to do with
the project not having been published, it appears to be related to the userid
and the permissions granted to him. From the TASKS view, the user is able to
link his task to the target document.
