User Can't Logon

I have a strange problem with a user trying to access our project server
2003 web page. Ever since he changed his network logon password, he gets
prompted for a password when he tries to access the project server page. He
tried both his old and new password and it doesn't work. He can log on to
his computer and access other network resources that require authentcation.
The only other place he has this problem is with his logon to MSN messenger
for SIP communication. Anyone have any ideas?

hi abrian,

I had this kind of problem with my envirnoment(Project server 2007) but when
i delete the user fromt he project server site and then add it again. and
empty the cache. Its work for me.

Thanks. I don't think we can delete the user's account on the project server
without creating some chaos as far his work history goes. I'll with the
project admin.

Here are some other things that you can try:


1 Check for a “stored user name and password”.


2 Cold Boot P/C & Change Password
a. Have the user “Cold Boot” (Re-Boot) their P/C.
b. Immediately after login have the user change their password.

The above has sometimes worked when our users have the same issue.
