Hello. I am not trained on Macs so I need to ask for help.

A user in our college uses a Macintosh with Entourage. Our college is generally an XP shop and uses Exchange 2003. This user can send attachments to other uses within our network but her attachments are stripped when she sends off campus. Other Mac users in her department do not have this problem.

All of the information I find on the Entourage website so far regard how to accept attachments, not how to ensure they go out.

What settings should I look for on her system and on the other systems in her department for comparison?

Thanks for any help.

What are her settings for attachments? Do you know how the user is encoding
the attachments?

Entourage Preferences --> Compose

Select to encode as AppleDouble (default setting)

When sending to both Mac and Windows users at the same time, use AppleDouble
encoding. Sending to Windows only, use "Windows Mime/Base 64".

It sounds like the server is stripping them out because they don't meet
certain criteria.
