User Defined 1, 2 and 3

Hi, I am reviewing our MS project server security template settings and I can
see that some of our template settings have the following ticked: User
Defined 1 User Defined 2 User Defined 3 I can not find out what these mean or
how they work apart from the fact that they are something to do with
customisation. Could you supply me with information of let me know where I
might find some information on these.
