for excel users, who are office employees, are you technically allowed to use
a user defined function -out of the Fx box- in your office workbook ?

IMHO, it shouldn't be any restriction since you're actually being more
productive with the resources provided, which is a major part of any
enterprise philosophy.

technically it is possible since it's a feature of the software, unless it
is explicitly forbidden.
