Hi -
A coworker managed to save settings from a custom template such that
Normal.dot now contains a mess of custom styles - and regenerates with them
intact!
I have renamed and deleted Normal.dot and tried to regenerate it, but these
styles remain - and Word does not list them as "User Defined Styles", and I
can't delete them using Format>Styles or the Organizer!
I have also removed templates from the c:/program files.../office/startup
directory, as described on the MVPs site.
Do I have to go into the registry to fix this? How do I do that?
We are working in Word 2000 on Windows 98.
Thanks
Joshua
