I have a problem with with User dictionary. I am using German Office 2008
and a file Benutzerwörterbuch is present in the folder
/library/preferences/Microosoft/Office 2008/Benutzerwörterbuch.

Can someone help?

Thanks
Nenad

I think you are talking about what we know as the Custom Dictionary.

The issue is that there is a bug that allows the dictionary to get itself
into the wrong code format so Word's spelling checker can't read it.

The "Corentin Cure" (Which Corentin discovered for the French version, which
suffers exactly the same issue) is to Edit the dictionary in Word, add and
remove a space, then save it. Word will re-write the dictionary in Unicode
and it can read it again.

If that doesn't work: See if any of this helps (I can't read it!)

Than ks for letting us know it worked. It is *very* helpful to know
which tips did or did not work so that we can better find proper
solutions when the problem comes again for someone else,

Corentin
