Windows XP Home SP2
Single user system with administrative privileges.
Word 2003
When I attempt to open, delete, or move specific word documents, in a single
folder on my secondary hard drive D:\... I get:
"Word cannot open Document: User does not have access privileges"
I cannot open the documents with any other ASCii editor, notepad and
Ultraedit, either.
I have tested that folder with subsequent Word documents and have full
control of the new documents.
When I look at the Properties of the files, they are not hidden and I do not
see the read Only attribute.
I have shut down the Norton protection of Office documents as prescribed and
still have the problem.
