User changed her Windows password and now she gets the following error
when trying to open project professional

You are not authorized to view this page

You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the
credentials that you supplied

It is using her cached credentials for some reason. Does anyone know
of a work around?

Thanks

Gary,

I have deleted the temporary internet files and still no luck. I also
changed the authentication from windows to project server and back to
windows thinking this would resolve the issue, but the user is still
not able to login. Any ideas?

Thanks

Chad,

Is the workstation a member of/logging into a domain? If so I'm confused why this might happen - as long as the workstation domain and the project server domain are the same.

If not, and the user has Windoze XP (I hope) go to control panel|users and click on the user name that the person logs onto the machine with. After the window comes up that allows you to change settings for the user look at the top left of the screen and there should be a link to "manage my network passwords" or something to that effect. Click it and you'll see any cached credentials for the users machine. Find the domain\server name of your project server in that list and update the users credentials to match the new ones. Save all the changes and try again. Let us know if this works or not.
