User Group Access

I have a jobcode field that has values such as Manager, Supervisor, Operator,
etc. There are linked tables that contain paydata as well.

I will have approximately 5 endusers of which only 2 will be allowed access
to the paydata for employees with the Manager jobcode.

The only security that I have worked with so far is requiring an enduser to
enter in a password to open the database itself but once open, they have
access to all records in all tables.

This is asked here all the time. Google this group for "restricting
data" (without the quotes) & you will get some hits. That's the only
search I tried; try other relevant words & you are sure to find more
info.
