Whenever a certain person on our network creates a .xls file and
another users tries to open that file, that user does not get prompted
that it is already opened. Now, whenever a different user from the
same department creates a .xls files and has the other user try and
open it, that user does get a prompt. Also, whenever a user from a
different department creates a file it works fine. We are starting to
think that it is premissions, but are not sure that has anything to do
with it. Any advise will be much appreciated.
Sincerely,
