User management errors

Hi,

I have just installed MOSS 3.0 SP1 and then Project Server 2007, ran
Configuration Util every time, installed Office Servers SP1 - was good boy
and followed all instructions.
Yet:
When I open any I am getting PWA "Edit user" page I am getting
"An error was encountered in loading the page. Refresh the page, or contact
your server administrator if this problem persists."

Then, if I ignore and try to modify a user and save changes, I get:
"The resource could not be saved due to the following reasons:
Updates could not be applied because the resource(s) are no longer checked
out to you."

Any file (dynamic or static) compression on IIS is turned off.

I searched all resources I know and failed to find an answer.

I would appreciate help a lot because we need this Project Server up badly.

Thank you for reply.
This account is member of several domain groups: Domain Admins, Domain
Users, Remote Desktop Users, WSS_ADMIN_WPG.

What is the issue? Can you give any advice?

Gary,

It is in Administrator group only.
