User Password access to sub-web

Hi,
We've been using FrontPage 2000 to maintain our club website for about 5
years with very few problems. In the last month or so, we have been
experiencing password rejection lock-out to our members sub-web.

Our ISP says
Quote
"These are some of the reasons why Microsoft do not sell FrontPage anymore.
It is so temperamental, flaky, easily broken.
There is no fix but to reinstall FP extensions and we have done that now
many times."

Is this statement true, or is there something else possibly causing our
problem that our ISP techs are overlooking, and not fixing.

There have also been occasions where my admin-level password access has been
rejected for a period. Again, the ISP has no solution other than to
"reinstall FrontPage extensions on the server" and blame MS...

Any ideas out there ?
