I have a user on Windows XP and Office XP. Everytime the user shuts down
settings are lost, for example putting icons (shortcuts etc.) on the desktop
in a certain order as soon as you shut down and restart all the icons have
moved.
But more importantly than that it is loosing Outllok settings so the user
has to re-configure her outlook every day, also printer settings. Also in
Outlook, once the user has shut down and restarted, Outlook is looking for
the Mircosoft Exchange Server which no longer exists and then times out
giving an error of "work offline".
Is there anyone who has any advice, I am getting really desperate!! I have
rebuilt the machine with a fresh copy of XP and still the problem persists!!
Thank you in advance!!
