User rights and Novell

O

Oz

Hello,

I am using Novell Zenworks to launch VISIO PRO locally on
the computer. The problem I have is that all my users here
log into W2K as 'Users' and Visio just hangs on launch.

If I use ZenWorks to launch the program running as 'System
User', the program launches and runs as expected BUT users
are unable to browse to their home directory (on a Novell
Server)through the program as obviously the only object
with rights to the Home dir is the user themself and not
System User which is what the program is running as.

Does anyone know what rights are required and where they
are required for this program to run as a user? An option
I could consider is using CACLS.EXE as a means of granting
the appropriate rights on program launch and resetting
them on program exit.

Thanks alot,

Oz
